Does this drama have a Happy Ending?

Notes

I do have to talk about this ending because while I chose yes, there is also something missing for me.

The end of the world has been averted, the love has finally been admitted, Ma Wang found his son and paid the punishment for his beloved so she can be reborn without torturing her life and even our dear found her peace. But…

We end this movie with Seon Mi dead but having the promise that Oh Gong would find her and Oh Gong driving off to the underworld to find her and get her back and that’s it.

I would have loved an episode more. One in which we see him turning the underworld upside down to find her, after all she got his other eye so he can find her. And Ma Wang states he would cause a ruckus. But I wanted to see it. Wanted to see them finally together and happy and maybe even a glimpse into their future so they can finally have their wedding and all that. So it ended on a note of ‘Just one more episode to tie up the loose end, let my babies be happy’.

Also a little warning: There are some moments that could be triggering. One of the stories includes two kids that are abused by their father. It is only a small scene in which it is visible, and it is quite obvious when it is about to start so you can do the 10 seconds forward skipping a few times.
